Joseph A. Floreano Center

THE SPACE
The “Joseph A. Floreano Entertainment & Education Center,” located on the main level of  the West Herr Performing Arts Center, is named in honor of Mr. Floreano for his many years of support and dedication to the Rochester Broadway Theatre League. The historic Floreano Center is utilized for arts education programming, fundraisers, and other events, as a rehearsal space, and more. RBTL is grateful for Joe’s friendship and involvement and dedicated this room in sincere appreciation for his many contributions and help in providing arts education opportunities for local students.

ABOUT JOE
Joe Floreano joined the RBTL Board of Directors in 1999 and was an active member for 15 years. He devoted countless hours of service, generously supporting Auditorium Theatre shows, fundraising events, and most importantly, arts education programs. Joe was the CFE Executive Director of the Rochester Riverside Convention Center, where he served for over 30 years. Considered a leader in his field, he was awarded the 2014 IAVM Legacy Award which recognizes the significant contributions of an individual or company leaving a legacy for the advancement of the venue management industry.
