When you visit the West Herr Auditorium Theatre, RBTL’s first priority is your care and safety. We are committed to providing a safe environment for our guests, through comprehensive security measures and professional on-site staff.

Trained staff and security personnel are present during all Auditorium Theatre events. In the event of an emergency, follow directions from venue staff and/or public safety personnel. Please review the following information to help make your visit as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

Entry Screening & Security

  • All guests are subject to metal detector screening upon entry.
  • Coats and hats may remain on. Keys and phones may remain in pockets unless instructed otherwise.
  • Re-entry is subject to individual show discretion.

Prohibited items

  • Outside food, beverages and alcohol are not allowed, with the exception of one sealed water bottle per person.
  • Weapons of any kind are prohibited.
  • Smoking, vaping, and e-cigarettes are not permitted inside the facility.
  • Pets are prohibited, with the exception of service animals, as defined by the ADA.

Bag/Personal Item Policy

  • Large bags and backpacks are not permitted.
  • All bags and personal items are subject to inspection.
  • Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items and diaper bags, after they are screened.

Health Policy

  • For the safety of all guests and staff, anyone experiencing symptoms of illness is encouraged to remain at home and avoid attending events. If you become ill while inside the venue or require medical assistance, please contact a staff member immediately. First Aid services are available during events.

Photo/Video/Phone Policy

  • Photography and video of any kind is prohibited at most events.
  • Cameras with detachable or professional lenses are not permitted unless specifically authorized.
  • Ray-Ban Meta or similar recording glasses are prohibited at all events.
  • Flash photography, tripods, monopods and selfie sticks are prohibited.
  • Please refrain from using cell phones or other electronic devices during a performance.
  • Policies may vary depending on the event.

Patron Services

  • The Patron Services Desk, located in the main lobby of the Theatre, is available to assist with seating, accessibility information, lost and found, and general questions during events.
  • After an event, please contact the Box Office for assistance with lost items or other inquiries.
