The incomparable jazz pianist, HERBIE HANCOCK has been and always will be viewed as one of the most revered figures in jazz music. A trail blazing jazz pioneer on the highest of creative levels, HANCOCK created magic on numerous Miles Davis recordings in the 1960's with fellow band mates Wayne Shorter, Ron Carter and Tony Williams. HANCOCK’S lengthy discography includes performances with just about every important name in jazz. His most recent recording "River: The Joni Letters", was released in 2007 and won a Grammy for Album of The Year across all genres.
