Summer Stars Assistant Program

RBTL's Summer Stars program offers paid internships to performing arts students in their junior or senior year of college. Candidates work alongside Broadway professionals and fulfill leadership positions within the camp structure. Dance: assists our professional artists in choreography and technique classes. Acting & Improvisation: assists and or independently teach basic courses, coach scenes and monologues. Stage Management: acts as liaison with our technical director and has a myriad of production duties culminating with the gala ceremony at camps end.

The Summer Stars schedule is demanding and assistants often help guide less experienced campers in the challenging work presented during camp.

The Skinny on Summer Stars Assistant 2009

4 positions are available
2 positions are available for three weeks (July 6 – 24)
2 positions are available for two weeks (July 13 – 24)

We are looking for motivated college students who are confident, competent and able to provide leadership in at least three of the following disciplines: dance, piano, acting, improvisation, vocal ensemble, stage management, and "camp counselor"
