RBTL makes every effort to accommodate seating requests. In order for us to serve you best, patrons with requests for special needs tickets to any Broadway show are asked to contact the box office one business day prior to the day that tickets are available for sale to the general public.

FM Hearing Assistance System
: FM Hearing Assistance Systems are available for patron use at each performance. To obtain a headset from the House Manager, please provide collateral in the form of a credit card or driver's license, which will be returned in exchange for the headset following the performance.

Audio Description: With this service, provided by ABVI and RBTL, at each Sunday matinee subscription performance of the Broadway Season, visually-impaired Broadway patrons can listen through a headset as the performance is depicted to them by a trained describer. Headsets must be reserved in advance by calling the box office at 585.222.5000.

Sign Interpreted Performances: The RBTL offers sign interpretation at each Thursday evening subscription performance of the Broadway Season. For individual events, sign interpretation is offered if a request is made at least one week in advance of the performance and at the discretion of the presenters. To reserve seating in view of the interpreter or to confirm sign interpretation at a specific performance, call the box office at 585.222.5000 or email info@rbtl.org.

Open Captioning: With this service,  at each Sunday matinee subscription performance of the Broadway Season, patrons with hearing loss will be able to read a text display of  a simultaneous translation of dialogue and lyrics, as well as a description of any sound effects on stage. Partial support for open captioning provided by Theatre Development Fund. To purchase tickets, please call the box office at 585.222.5000 and request seating in the captioning section of the orchestra.


Handicap Accessible Seating: The Auditorium Theatre is equipped both wheelchair and transfer seating for disabled patrons. Accessible seating must be reserved through the box office at 585.222.5000. Please note that there is no elevator access to the Balcony level seating, therefore all accessible seating is located on the Orchestra level.

Child Booster Seats: Booster seats for children are available for patron use at every Auditorium Theatre performance. Please ask an usher on the night of the performance.
